How to select the appropriate sensor When we provide sensing solutions, it is very important to choose the right products. There are so many kinds of sensors. Once the selection is not good, it will bring a lot of issues to the application.

Principle of magnetostrictive linear displacement sensor The magnetostrictive linear displacement (liquid level) transmitter is mainly composed of a measuring rod, an electronic silo and a non-contact magnetic ring (floating ball) on the measuring rod. The measuring rod is equipped with magnetostriction wire (waveguide wire).

Absolute pressure sensor: absolute pressure means the total pressure on the surface area of an object. Its zero point is based on absolute vacuum, we can call it total pressure. Gauge pressure sensor: Gauge pressure= total pressure- one atmospheric pressure. Its zero point is the local atmospheric pressure as the reference point. The difference between them only the zero point.

Piezoresistor pressure sensor is a sensor made of piezoresistor effect of monocrystalline silicon and integrated circuit technology. When the monocrystalline silicon material is affected by the force, the resistivity changes, through measuring circuit, ratiometric output signal to force change can be obtained.

Temperature Sensor RTD Resistance temperature sensor is usually made from high purity platinum metal. Their resistance has a direct and repeatable relationship with temperature.RTD platinum temperature sensor has long term stability and strict tolerances over a wide temperature range.

Displacement sensor is also known as linear position sensor. The function of displacement sensor is to convert various measured value into electric quantity. In the production process, displacement measurement is generally divided into two types: physical size measurement and mechanical displacement measurement.

Load cell is based on strain gauges and the principle of Wheatstone bridge.A load cell is a sensor that converts force or weight into a measurable electrical output, the most common output signal is mV/V.
