Isolated Pressure Measuring Cell

An isolated pressure measuring cell uses piezoresistive technology to convert pressure into a precise electrical signal while protecting the sensing element from the measured medium. This design is particularly suitable for aggressive or corrosive media and demanding industrial environments.

At the core of the sensor is a silicon diaphragm with piezoresistive elements. When pressure is applied, the diaphragm deforms, changing the electrical resistance of the sensing elements. The signal change is proportional to the applied pressure and can be processed for accurate pressure measurement.

In an isolated pressure cell, a thin metal diaphragm and pressure-transmitting oil separate the silicon chip from the process medium. This structure supports excellent long-term stability, low hysteresis, and reliable performance over repeated pressure cycles.
