Introduction of LVDT Position Sensor
LVDT is an acronym for Linear Variable Differential Transformer, it is the most widely used inductive position sensor that converts the linear motion into the electrical signal, the output across secondary of this transformer is the differential, therefore, the original signal of LVDT is mV signal.
